Boots on the Roof is delivering a complete set of courses on the business and science of Commercial Solar Projects. We’ve worked with leading photovoltaic manufacturers, distributors, and veteran solar professionals to bring you these business-level courses.

Boots on the Roof is also the largest training provider for general contractors, electricians, plumbers, builders, sales professionals, construction managers and others – who want to add renewable Energy to their existing businesses. Classes run on a regular schedule, in both California and New Jersey.

All of our courses are designed in consultation with leading solar and wind manufacturers, national renewable energy accrediting agencies and industry associations, many of them headquartered right here in Silicon Valley. Solar is evolving rapidly, so our courses evolve too, on a regular schedule of technical updates.

We are uniquely qualified to help manufacturing companies implement training and certification standards for their partner ecosystems. In addition to our experience creating training for renewable energy companies, our parent school has also been delivering certification-based training for companies like Cisco, Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, NetApp and many others, for almost 20 years.

Solar, Wind and Building Efficiency Instructors

Are you an experienced designer/installer of renewable energy systems, and also an engaging speaker? If so, we'd love to discuss instructional opportunities with you. We are looking for full and part-time instructors for classes in the following topics; Photovoltaic's, Small Wind, Solar Thermal, and Green Building / Energy Efficiency. Special consideration will be given to those with experience designing and selling commercial scale projects, and those who have experience with emerging technologies. We are expanding, and are looking for qualified trainers in both the US and Europe.
