Veterans Vocational Rehab Training (Chapter 31)
As of July 2010, we do not have VA approval for any student from any state wanting to use GI Bill funds to pay our tuition. We are seeking approval from the Veterans Administration.
However, until such time as we are approved students that are eligible to receive the GI Bill can still receive a hefty 30% discount on their courses at Boots on the Roof (cannot be combined with other discounts). Note that you must provide proof that you are eligible for GI Bill to receive this discount, as it is the largest discount that we offer. If you choose to wait until we receive approval, do let your Boots enrollment advisors know and they will put you on a mailing list. As soon as our approval comes through, you will receive an email from us with enrollment details. MyCAA - Training for Military Spouses Boots is MyCAA Approved!
Spouses of Department of Defense active duty members and federally activated members of the National Guard and Reserve Components are eligible for MyCAA. This period of eligibility extends through activation, deployment, and an additional 180 days following de-mobilization. This means it might not be too late to pursue your career goals. The Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts program provides up to $6,000 financial assistance for military spouses who are pursuing degree programs, licenses or credentials with the goal of employment in Portable Career Fields. If you have any questions regarding you or your spouse’s Career and Training Plan, please don’t hesitate to call us at 888-893-0367. Our trained Admissions Representatives are here to help you through the application process with MyCAA. TAA - Trade Adjustment Assistance Program The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Program is a federal program that provides a path for employment growth and opportunity through aid to US workers who have lost their jobs as a result of foreign trade. The TAA program seeks to provide these trade-affected workers with opportunities to obtain the skills, resources, and support they need to become reemployed. The program benefits and services that are available to individual workers are administered by the states through agreements between the Secretary of Labor and each state Governor. Program eligibility, technical assistance, and oversight are provided by the US Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration's Office of Trade Adjustment Assistance - click HERE to learn more and find out if you qualify. We work with TAA to provide renewable energy training. Call 888-893-0367 for details.
