Unemployment Retraining Benefits - Finance your Boots Training

If you are unemployed and looking for retraining benefits, there is a good chance that you can use re-training funds provided by your local unemployment office to pay for your Boots tuition. Boots works regularly with many of these offices, especially in California and New Jersey, however location doesn't matter, we will work with unemployment offices in all 50 states.

Here's how it works:

  1. Click on this link to download our brochure, you should print it as well as save yourself a copy as a PDF file.

  2. Visit your local unemployment office and ask a counselor about retraining funds. Give them a copy of our brochure. Explain to them why you are interested in a renewable energy as a career.

  3. Let the counselor know that Boots works closely with many offices such as their own, and also offers discounted pricing.

  4. Ask them to call us. Every unemployment office has a slightly different paperwork process to get us listed as a training vendor in their system. We are quite experienced at completing this process, and will assign an administrator to work with them.

  5. Once we are in their system, we will work with the local office to enroll you.

  6. Click here for a sample letter of what you could send to your local unemployment office.

Note: This process can take some time. Please be patient as we work through the paperwork process with your local office.

G.I. Bill Funds

As of July 2010, we do not have VA approval for any student from any state wanting to use GI Bill funds to pay our tuition. We are seeking approval from the Veterans Administration.

However, until such time as we are approved students that are eligible to receive the GI Bill can still receive a hefty 30% discount on their courses at Boots on the Roof (cannot be combined with other discounts). Note that you must provide proof that you are eligible for GI Bill to receive this discount, as it is the largest discount that we offer.

If you choose to wait until we receive approval, do let your Boots enrollment advisors know and they will put you on a mailing list. As soon as our approval comes through, you will receive an email from us with enrollment details.
