Welcome back, dedicated reader! Thanks for visiting.
The Boston Museum of Science now hosts 5 different kinds of urban wind turbines on its rooftop for a three year test that will obviously impact future policy and wind projects in American urban environments. The turbines range from 40 to 7 feet in height above the museum and each spans between five and 18 feet in diameter. Which manufacturer will prove to have created the most efficient and effective wind turbine? The data is being collected on the following technologies:
-Mariah Power Windspire
-Southwest SkyStream
-Cascade Engineering Swift
-AeroVironment AVX1000
-Proven 6
More information to become available as I learn about it. All I know at this point is that my company is looking into SkyStream as they have small models for small businesses and our wind training needs so far…
