PV market back on the rise in Q3 ‘09

December 16, 2009

Welcome back, dedicated reader! Thanks for visiting.

In recent months it seems the solar industry has been in a bit of a slump, and there has been much speculation as to when it might rebound. Even though slight improvements have been seen in Q2, its in Q3 ’09 that the strong nature of this rebound has shown itself. Coming back above revenues from just a year ago.

The one of the likely reasons for this is the increase in Feed in Tariffs and how many more are in the process of approval. With ever increasing rebates and ever falling panel prices its no wonder that sales and installations are starting to kick up again. But regardless of if its going to get better solar installations are now quite reasonable for many of those who want them. And that number is only going to increase.

All of this relative improvement now is indicative of the much expected growth in the years to come, as solar spreads even more rapidly. And the best thing is this means lots of new solar and other green jobs to support the revolution, whether is be selling, managing, or installing solar systems. Not only is now a great time to get a solar system installed but its also a great time to jump on the solar bandwagon and get yourself a true green career in helping the nation.
