This 3-day intensive course is a fast-track to BPI certification, designed for professionals with previous experience in residential contracting or home inspection. The class will briefly cover basic concepts and primarily focus on higher-level material.

Students must meet ONE of the following prerequisites to sign up for this course:

• HERS Rater
• Licensed Home Inspector
• Licensed HVAC Professional
• Licensed Insulation Professional
• General Contractor
• Home Builder
• 4yr Engineering Degree

If you do not meet these requirements, your enrollment will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Through a combination of classroom and field instruction, you will learn the "house-as-a-system" approach to energy auditing and home contracting. You will learn to diagnose and correct problems associated with health, safety, comfort, energy efficiency and durability, without compromising other systems in the home. At the end of the training you will be prepared to take both the written and field examinations to receive your BPI Building Analyst Certification.

• Combustion Testing and Safety
