Solar Lab – Commercial Solar Installation Labs for Solar PV, Solar Thermal and Wind Energy

New for 2012! 8,000 square foot indoor climate-controlled Solar training Lab! - Boots on the Roof is acquiring so much new solar equipment that we’re expanding into a new climate-controlled indoor lab that’s four times bigger!

This new lab has room to build commercial-scale sub-arrays from a variety of manufacturers, and also room to build a full-size residential PV system, indoors. Solar Power in America is more and more about big projects on really big buildings, and this lab was designed to teach the technologies and techniques of the growing commercial-scale solar power industry.

The technology is also evolving fast, and this new lab is just part of our commitment to teach cutting-edge technologies. This new lab supports not one, but three (new-for-2012) courses on commercial scale solar, launching Fall 2011.
